Twelfth Tide, our latest pirate-inspired design celebrating the rich, stormy history of North Carolina’s coastline. North Carolina was a refuge for some of the most notorious pirates of the 18th century, with figures like Blackbeard (Edward Teach) making his mark on its shores. Known for hiding in the shallow waters and twisting inlets of the Outer Banks, these pirates found their freedom and fortune in the Carolina tides, giving rise to legends that still linger today.
This Twelfth Tide design channels that rebellious spirit with vintage-styled artwork that reflects the rugged, wild beauty of North Carolina’s coast. It’s not just a nod to the state’s pirate past but a tribute to those daring enough to explore uncharted waters, fight for their way of life, and find adventure in every wave.
