The lost city of North Carolina.
Once a thriving fishing and whaling community on Shackleford Banks, Diamond City stood strong against the coastal elements—until the devastating San Ciriaco hurricane of 1899 forced its residents to abandon it forever. Named after the diamond patterns of the Cape Lookout Lighthouse, this lost city remains a ghost of North Carolina’s past, now reclaimed by the sea and sand.
This Twelfth State Co. design honors the resilience of those who once called it home. A tribute to history, mystery, and the ever-changing tides of the Twelfth State.
